MobiText

Whenever you need to edit text or create complex text projects and you only have the Windows operating system installed, you don't have too many options. That's because Wordpad and Notepad, the two text editors which are included in Windows, are very limited and offer few options and features. On the other hand, Microsoft Word seems like the perfect application, but even this one has some downsides, it's expensive, takes a lot of system resources to function optimally and it's also difficult to learn and master.

MobiText manages to offer the best of both worlds, as it includes the simpleness of Wordpad and also the features of MS Word, allowing anyone to create complex and professional text projects in no time. After installing and running the program, the user will notice that the interface of MobiText resembles pretty much the one of MS Word, but it's clearer. All the controls and features are organized in the top part of the interface, in a graphical toolbar.

Besides that, in order to find a certain option, all of them are organized in multiple tabs, according to their type. As such, if the user wants to change the font type or size, he can just access the Text Tools tab. MobiText even includes a text-to-speech feature, which can read out loud any kind of text. After the text project has been created, one can save it either as a TXT, RTF or MTXT file. Unfortunately, there is no support for MS Word DOC or DOCX files.
